Answer to Question

I'm not sure what you mean by "xcopy". The current installation was done using the full 8.5 Notes_Designer_Admin.exe which I downloaded from passport advantage, ran a local installation, no smart upgrade or anything fancy.

I definitely do not want to install the only client version. But I would prefer not to uninstall what I have to reinstall "notes_designer_admin_851_w32_CZ5S0EN.exe" which I already have.

I suppose I could just copy my data folder and bite the bullet.
